Straight for Skaricic

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a three-way turn of {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Fatih Aydin checked out of the small blind and Thomas Hofmann bet 5,500 in the big blind. Nenad Skaricic raised to 15,000 from under the gun and Aydin folded, Hofmann called after short consideration.

The {7-Diamonds} fell on the river and Hofmann check-called for 12,000. Skaricic turned over {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for a straight and won the pot.

Behor Busted by Behrens

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, Yehonatan Behor checked his option out of the big blind and Eric Lange bet 4,000 from under the gun. Hermann Behrens called and so did Abdenbi Abida. Behor then jammed for 20,700 and Lange folded.

Behrens asked for a count to then jam for more than 100,000, forcing out Abida after long consideration.

Yehonatan Behor: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Hermann Behrens: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {4-Spades} turn left Behor drawing dead and the {2-Spades} river didn't matter anymore

Mzoughi Busts Two to Chip Up Further

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Karim Mzoughi
Karim Mzoughi

Karim Mzoughi raised to 2,500 and was called by Antonio Scalzi. Yiannakis Papapetrou then three-bet to 6,500 and was called both ways, albeit very reluctantly by Scalzi. On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}, Papapetrou jammed for 14,500 and Mzoughi called, Scalzi tank-folded.

Yiannakis Papapetrou: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Karim Mzoughi: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The {10-Clubs} turn instantly left Papapetrou in dire shape and the {7-Diamonds} river changed nothing anymore.

Shortly after, Scalzi jammed for 11,000 from under the gun and Mzoughi called in the big blind.

Antonio Scalzi: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Karim Mzoughi: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} board sent yet another stack to Mzoughi.

Peters and Tomovic Chip Up

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Tobias Peters fired one barrel of 2,200 on a {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop in a battle cutoff versus button and earned a call. He then bet the {9-Hearts} turn for 5,600 and that ended the pot right there.

One table over, the completed board showed {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Aleksandar Tomovic checked out of the big blind. Andrea Ricci bet 12,000 into 20,000 and Tomovic gave it plenty of thought before making the call. He didn't have to show as Ricci mucked and forfeited the pot.

Hofmann Suffers Another Setback

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Marco Slacanac three-bet jammed for around 20,000 and was quickly called by Thomas Hofmann.

Slacanac was in trouble with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} as Hofmann had that crushed with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. However, the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board provided the set right away.
