There was plenty of discussion after the hand was over as Hao Liu said he may have folded to a three-bet preflop. As it played out, however, Liu pushed the turn with the far superior stack and Xhevdet Vula called all-in.

Paus Busts Soering to Boost Stack

Dominik Paus opened to 2,200 and Robert Ashelm called in the small blind. Hendriekus Soering three-bet to 10,000 in the big blind and Paus then clicked it back to 23,500. Ashelm tanked for more than two minutes and folded, Soering jammed for 48,000 and was instantly called.

Much Drama After a Split Pot

The floor was called very vehemently to table 88 while a hand without too much drama played out. Safwane Bahri bet the turn for 2,300 and Han Kuo called, Silviu Baltateanu folded. On the [Q] river, Bahri bet another 4,000 to earn a call and Ku chopped with versus .

It was then explained to the floor that Baltateanu had been very aggressive towards the dealer after losing a big pot. Sure enough, two minutes later the Romanian lost the remaining chips and was spotted on the way out.
