Superior Full House for Studer

Level 2 : 100/300, 300 ante

In a rather small pot and four ways to the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} river, Clyde Tjauw Foe bet 1,000 out of the big blind. Daniel Studer from under the gun raised to 2,000 and earned two folds. Tjauw Foe eventually called and Studer tabled {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for aces full of deuces to win the pot.

Peters Arrives and Takes a Hit

Level 2 : 100/300, 300 ante

Tobias Peters entered the field and was immediately involved in a big pot. He fired the {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Spades} river for 13,500 from an early position. Stylianos Karadaglis called on the button and was shown aces by the Dutchman, which Karadaglis had beat with {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for a flush.

Peters then raised from under the gun once more and bet the three-way turn of {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The {6-Diamonds} river was checked and the big blind showed {a-Hearts}{3-} for the busted nut flush draw. Peters turned over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for the overpair and the third player in the hand mucked.

Usta Left Short After Battle with Tsouloftas

Level 2 : 100/300, 300 ante

Ibrahim Usta raised from under the gun to pick up one opponent in Georgios Tsouloftas. Usta bet twice to earn a call and then checked the river of a {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} board. Tsouloftas bet 11,000 and Usta called only to sigh in frustration when his opponent turned over the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for aces and jacks.

After paying off Tsouloftsas, Usta was left with just 11,000 in chips.

Vat Gets Creative Against Mozaffarian

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

There was some laughter at the table when Amir Mozaffarian lost a medium-sized pot versus Michel Vat. As per the table chat, Mozaffarian had opened and called a three-bet to then check-call the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. With 17,000 in the middle, both players checked the {2-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds}.

Mozaffarian announced ace-high and tabled the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}. His opponent rolled over the {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, which then caused the reactions from several players at the table. "Ah, you three-bet with that hand, guess I have to rethink my strategy," Mozaffarian joked.

Hooijer Binks the Turn

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

A short-stacked Helmut Hoflehner ended up at risk before the flop and was called by Dutchman Berend Hooijer.

Hoflehner turned over the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} and needed to dodge aces versus {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The {a-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and that spelled the end for the German.

"What should I do?" Hooijer asked in table chat and then grinned while raking in the pot.
