Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Wojciech Wyrebski
Wojciech Wyrebski

Joining the action on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} turn, Wojciech Wyrebski bet 18,500 and Yunus Ekinci then raised to 40,000. Wyrebski jammed for 131,000 and Ekinci tank-called after the clock was called on him.

Wojciech Wyrebski: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Yunus Ekinci: [AhAs6

The {9-Hearts} river was the cherry on top as Wyrebski even made kings. "Luckbox", Ekinci whispered in French while already telling the bad news to friends via his smart phone.

Berrehail Doubles Through Ramachandran

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sammy Berrehail (right)
Sammy Berrehail (right)

On a completed board of {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} with some 68,000 in the middle, Sammy Berrehail was at risk for 55,000. He only had to go through Kisohkumar Ramachandran and his opponent was deep in the tank. Eventually, Ramachandran made the call and was shown the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for an eight-high straight by Berrehail.

Ramachandran sighed and flipped over {q-Spades}{10-Spades} to take a big hit to his stack.

Early Day 2 Eliminations

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Bise Doubles Through Schroeter

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With 30,000 in the middle and the turn showing {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Emil Bise got the last 45,000 in and was reluctantly called by Patric Schroeter.

Bise tabled the {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the top two pair and had a lock, as Schroeter only revealed {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. A meaningless {10-Spades} river completed the board and Bise got the double as one of the numerous Day 2 entries.

Jelinek Busts Nemes

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Vaclav Jelinek was one of the Day 2 entries and quickly jumped to a decent stack. He sent Silviu Nemes to the rail when the latter got it in preflop with the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Jelinek was well ahead with {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} and locked it up right away on the {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} board.

Mozaffarian Doubles Through Do

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Anh Do raised to 5,000 from under the gun and called the shove by Amir Mozaffarian for 41,500 on the button.

Amir Mozaffarian: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Anh Do: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for Mozaffarian to spike a runner-runner straight and double up.

Lamy Busts Sisso

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Vincent Lamy check-called for 20,000 when Avraham Sisso bet. He then checked the {10-Hearts} turn and Sisso jammed the last of it, Lamy called with a near identical stack.

Avraham Sisso: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Vincent Lamy: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {q-Spades} river improved Lamy and the stacks were counted. Sisso was covered by one T-500 chip and hit the rail.
