Fans of "High Stakes Poker' know that Antonio Esfandiari has had bad, bad luck with pocket aces during the first two seasons of that show. Well, Gabe Kaplan brought the evil mojo out of the broadcast booth down to the table. The flop of gave Antonio a set, but gave Kaplan a flush draw. All the chips ended up in the middle, and the on the river added another entry to the long ledger of tough beats Esfandiari has suffered with pocket rockets. Kaplan is now up around 17,000 and Antonio is down to around 8K.

Tournament Director Jack Effel just made an announcement that affected everyone in the room. Regarding the controversy over the playing cards, Effel announced that U.S. Playing Card (the official card of the WSOP) will be providing new setups. We're not sure when the new cards will arrive, but Effel promises they will be here.
