Almost Hand-for-Hand

There are approximately 278 players remaining. The tournament staff have cleared all spectators and media out of the tournament area until the players reach the money. We will do our best to bring you the action from the hand for hand process from outside the tournament area.

PearlJammer Loses Biggest Pot of Tournament So Far

Jon "PearlJammer" Turner
Jon "PearlJammer" Turner
On a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} a middle position-player moved all in for 10,150. Jon "PearlJammer" Turner min-raised to 20,300 from the button. Ronnie Jackson came over the top for another 10,000, putting himself all in.

Turner went into the tank for several minutes and finally called.

Jackson had {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
The all-in player had {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Turner had {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The turn card was the {4-Diamonds}

Turner screamed, "HOLD UP!!"

The river card was the {A-Clubs}, giving Jackson a pair of aces and a pot in excess of 90,000.

Not Quite Raced Off

A lonely green chip was found on table 28. It looks like someone didn't want to join in the fun of the race off. However, we did hear one player say it was the first hand he had one in an hour!

Getting Down to the Business End

We are rapidly approaching the money. There are approximately 320 players remaining, and 270 will cash. The tournament director just announced we will be playing ten-handed until there are 24 tables left, and then breaking to nine-handed.
