Sabyl Cohen Doubles Up

Saby Cohen is used to being the last woman left in a poker tournament. At the 2006 WSOP Main Event, she earned the distinction of being the highest-finishing female when she finished in 56th place out of 8,773 entrants.

She is the last standing female in Event #27 out of 2,315 players and she just doubled up. She moved all in with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and was called by Young Cho who flipped over {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The flop was {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and Cohen took the lead. The river was the {5-Hearts} and she doubled up against Cho. She now as 425K as Cho slipped to 255K.

Slow Down

After a couple of short stacks busted out, the action has slowed down as the final table bubble approaches. With 12 players remaining, we are three eliminations away from a final table. There are two tables left with six players on each. Since the tables are short-handed, action should pick up... eventually.

Woo Making Moves

David Woo switched gears and has been running over his table. He's now up to 765K. The rest of his tablemates have been avoiding pots with him. When Woo has been raising on the flop, everyone runs for cover and folds.
