Grigorian Loses a Big Pot Early

Chris Grigorian was one of 4 players to see the flop, which came {3-Diamonds}

. A player in middle position (MP) led out with a bet and Grigorian was the only caller.

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds}

and the MP player led out again. This time Grigorian raised, and the MP player called.

The {6-Diamonds}

on the river sparked a fiery round of betting. The MP player led out, Grigorian raised, MP reraised, Grigorian reraised, and the MP player capped the betting. Grigorian called and the MP player showed {A-Diamonds}

for an Ace high flush.

Grigorian mucked his hand and dropped to 5,500 chips when all was said and done.

Ankenman and Newhouse Looking to Go Back to Back

Jerrod Ankenman and Mark Newhouse made the same final table at one of last year's $3,000 Limit Hold'em events at the WSOP.

They're both in the field today and looking to improve on their 2nd (Ankenman) and 5th (Newhouse) place finishes the last time around.

He is now referring to his table as: Flaminio vs. the Donkeys.
