Big Hand for Newburger

Jason Newburger raised with {J-Spades}{8-Spades} and Greg Hopkins called. The {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop gave Newburger top pair, and when he led out and Hopkins called.

The {J-Clubs} fell on the turn, giving Newburger top two, and his bet set Hopkins to thinking. Hopkins counted out the chips for a call, re-stacked them, and then announced a raise to 80K. That sent Newburger into the tank. Had Hopkins flopped a set, or made his straight on the turn? Jason thought a good long while before he announced all-in and pushed his chips into the pot. When Hopkins didn’t insta-call Newburger had to know he was good, and in the end Hopkins mucked his {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.
