Eli Elezra Playing Blind

Eli Elezra is driving the players at his table crazy. He's playing the Limit Hold'em level blind. He three-bet preflop without looking at his cards. He turned his head so he would not see the flop and bet blind. His opponent missed the flop and was forced to fold his hand.

Elezra increased his stack to 500K.

Greg Raymer Loves the Snowmen

Greg "Fossilman" Raymer was recently heard talking about how the hand that put him into the record books (pocket eights) has only let him down ONCE in the three years since then. Raymer said he was eliminated from last year's USPC holding pocket eights, but aside from that lone occurence, he hasn't lost with them since his 2004 Main Event victory.

Chattin' It Up

Sam Grizzle was just overheard playfully poking fun at tablemate David Singer. After failing to connect on the flop and facing a bet from Singer, Grizzle folded Ace-King face up and proceeded to rib Singer about his seemingly endless luck.

Lindgren and Ivey Take One To the River

Erick Lindgren and Phil Ivey just got tangled up in a hand. Here's how the action went down.

Lindgren raised to 10K, and Ivey put in a reraise to 15K. Lingren called. The flop came {8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Lindgren checked, then called Ivey's bet. The turn came {8-Diamonds}. Again Lindgren check/called Ivey's bet. The river brought the {7-Diamonds}. Eric fired a bet and Ivey made the call. Lindgren showed {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Ivey mucked. With that pot, Lindgren sits around 165K, Ivey is still a force with 279K.
