You Called Me with THAT?!

"You called me with THAT!"
"You called me with THAT!"
Phil Hellmuth raised to 400 from the button and the big blind called. The flop was {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Hellmuth led out for 500 and the big blind called. The turn was the {3-Spades}. Hellmuth bet 500 and the big blind called again. The river was the {7-Hearts}. Hellmuth checked and the big blind checked behind. Hellmuth showed K-9 for top pair, but the big blind turned over the lowly 3-6 for two pair.

Naturally, Phil was thrilled with his opponent's play.

Freddy Deebs Wins a Big Pot

After a player limped under the gun Freedy Deeb raised to 800 and was called. The flop came {2-Spades} {J-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and Deeb called the other player's 1200 bet. Deeb also called a 2500 bet after the {8-Clubs} on the turn, and then both players hit the brakes after the {4-Diamonds} on the river. Deeb's {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} outkicked his opponent's {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} and Deeb won with Ace-high, increasing his stack to 12,500.

Sebok Out... Well, Almost

On a flop of {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, Joe Sebok calls an all-in bet with {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} only to find the all-in player with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The turn and river don't improve Joe and he walks away from the table. They cut down the chips and it turns out he has just under 1000 remaining.

He was last seen walking out of the Amazon Room.
