Freddy Deeb Takes the Chip Lead

With a little help from the cards this time. In the big blind Deeb called a raise from the cutoff and they saw a flop of {6-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. Deeb check-raised to 3000 and the other player moved all-in. Deeb showed {K-Diamonds} {10-Spades} for top pair, but his opponent had the overpair in pocket Jacks. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn opened up a flush draw for Freddy, and that backdoor draw hit in the cruelest possible way when the {J-Diamonds} gave Freddy the flush and his opponent a meaningless set. Deeb now has 53,000 chips.
