Missing Chip Stack

We've been told by the tournament staff that the reason for the hold up is that a player's chip stack has come up missing.

Surveillance is looking into the matter now.

Michael Mizrachi has moved his stack up to nearly 40,000 after winning a series of pots. He was involved in a three-way pot just now that he lost -- but still turned a profit on. All the money was in preflop, Michael holding {A-Spades}

Chad Brown Keeps Building His Stack

After a player in late position raised to 2,000 Chad Brown re-raised to 6,000, which all but set his opponent all-in. The other player called and showed A-Q, Brown held pocket Eights. The board ran out {K-Hearts}

and Brown increased his stack to 32,000.

No Break for Eugene Todd

Eugene managed to build his stack to 14,000 in this tournament before he had to move over to his table for Day 2 of the $2,000 No limit Event 47. While he was there his stack lost around 6,000 in blinds and antes so he's spending his break from one tournament playing in this one.
