Layne Flack called an opponent all the way to seventh street with only a pair of jacks and no low draw. He then threw a shoe at Mike Matusow, who is playing at a neighboring table, joking about the strength of his hand. Flack has been drinking something, but we're not sure what.
Doyle Brunson was all in on the turn against Cyndy Violette. Texas Dolly's straight and flush draws missed on the river and Violette's set held up to scoop the pot. There was no possible low.
On sixth street, Mike Matusow showed a board of and his opponent showed . After seventh street was dealt, Matusow looked at his down card and said, "well, I guess I check." His opponent thought for a long time before checking behind.
As Matusow's opponent turned up his hole cards, he said "I paired up." Matusow nearly went nuclear, thinking his A-A in the hole were cracked for high. However, his opponent only meant that he had paired his 5 on sixth. Matusow's aces took the high half, while his opponent's A-2-5-6-7 was good for low.
During the break, Jen Harman took a quick power nap, curled up in the four and five seats at an empty table. Harman is so tiny we barely noticed her! She's now back at her table, nursing a large cup of hot tea to stay awake.
