Unhappy Sheiky

There is certainly no love lost between Shawn "Sheiky" Sheikhan and the dealer at his table. Sheiky is constantly complaining about how the dealer pulls players bets into the pot and proceeds to re-stack them mid-hand, slowing down play. Typically, in split-pot games, bets are left stacked in front of the players -- especially on the later streets -- to avoid this very situation.

"No Good, Baby"

WIth the {4-Clubs} up on third street, Scotty Nguyen completed, and was called by three opponents. On fourth street, one of his opponents paired threes on the board. Nguyen caught the {6-Hearts} and bet out. Two opponents folded, and the player with {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} called. On fifth street, Nguyen caught the {2-Diamonds} while his opponent hit the {A-Spades}. Nguyen bet again, and his opponent called. Sixth street for Scotty was the {10-Hearts} and the {8-Spades} for his opponent. Scotty bet out again, and his opponent called.

On seventh street, Nguyen took one look at his down card and declared "two threes no good, baby" and then checked. His opponent bet and Scotty called. Nguyen's hand was good for the low, with A-2-4-6-7, while his opponent's two threes were, indeed, good for the high.
