Soheil Triples Up: Tex Barch Out

Soheil Shamsadden yells "gamble, gamble, gamble" and throws his last chips in with {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Dario Alioto shows J-J-Q-10, and Tex Barch (also all in) shows A-A-9-3. The flop comes K-5-5, and Soheil's gamble pays off. The turn and river blank out, and Soheil triples up to about 15,000 while Tex Barch has the rest of the night off.

Juha Helppi Triples Up...But Still Very Short-Stacked

The player under the gun limped in. Mike Wattel raised to 900 from middle position. Action folded to Juha Helppi in the big blind who called all in for his last 400. Helppi was all in for the main pot, with action on the side. Wattel and his opponent checked down to the river. The board read {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Wattel showed 10-10-X-X for the side, which was no good as his opponent had Q-Q-X-X. Helppi showed 8-3-X-X and won the main pot. Helppi is still very short-stacked, however, with only 2,400.

Andy Bloch Takes Down a Nice Pot

We caught up to this hand on the flop of {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Andy Bloch got into a raising war that ended with his opponent all in. Bloch showed 2-3-4-5 for a flopped wheel. He wasn't out of the woods quite yet though as his opponent had a higher straight draw holding 5-6-6-7. The turn came a {6-Hearts} giving his opponent even more outs, but the {10-Diamonds} on the river was the ultimate blank and Bloch now commands a chipstack upwards of 50,000.
