After Chad Batista raised to 30K, Isaac Haxton moved all-in for 239K from the cutoff. It was folded around to Batista who instantly called and slapped his on the felt. Haxton held and it looked like Batista was going to become our monster chip leader . . . and then the flop came . Haxton's set ended up taking the pot and he now sits with 500,000, while Batista stack was chopped down to 490K.
Filippi raised to 24,000 from early position holding and Spee moved all-in for 160K from the small blind with . Filippi called but didn't connect with the board and was eliminated. Spee now has 310,000.
Morgan limped from the small blind with and when Marquis raised to 60K from the big blind holding Morgan set him all-in. Marquis called and the flop put Marquis in the lead, but Morgan caught the on the turn for trips and they held up when the fell on the river. Morgan now has 501K.
Theo Tran continued his path of destruction through the field by knocking out Ylon Schwartz. Schwartz moved in with his last 44K with but Tran had him outkicked with . Tran hit a pair on the flop and knocked out yet another player.
Scott Seivor raised to 20K with pocket Jacks and Andre Hawit came over the top for 150,000 with pocket Sevens. Theo Tran made the call with pocket Queens and Hawit called with the last of his chips as well.
The board gave the huge pot to Tran and eliminated Seivor and Hawit. Tran now has 570,000.
