Joe Tehan Doubles Up

With the board reading {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} Tehan bet 5,000 and his opponent min-raised to 10K. Tehan moved in for 13,900 more and his opponent said, "I can't believe I trapped myself into this." He called and showed {3-Spades}{4-Spades}, while Tehan held {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a bigger pair and a flush draw. The {8-Clubs} on the river gave Tehan the pot and increased his stack to 56,000.

Dee Dozier Doubles Up

Dee Dozier, a cute little actress who has the potential of being the sweetheart of this year's main event if she goes deep, was just involved in a three-way ... pot.

The player under the gun moves all in for 12,000, the player in middle position calls, Dozier moves all in from the button for 29,500, and the middle player calls again. Here's what they show:

Under the Gun: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Middle Position: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Dee Dozier: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The board comes {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, and Dozier's jacks hold up to win the entire pot, more than doubling her up to about 73,000 in chips.

Jane Gold Has Been Eliminated

The mother of 2006 Champion Jamie Gold was just eliminated. She held pocket Jacks to Ed Jordan's A-Q, and both players checked the Q-8-9 flop, Gold called a 10,000 bet after the 2c turned and then she moved in after an Ace hit on the river. Jordan naturally called, and that brought Jane's Main Event to an end.
