Event 8 - $1,000 No Limit Holdem w/ rebuys

Day 1 Completed

Play Ends

Play ends for the evening until tomorrow at 2 p.m. Pacific time. Everyone will stay in the same spots for now, and the cashes will be fast and furious. Be back then!

Now Hand-for-Hand, Now Out

Here's how we got to hand-for-hand:

Sorel Mizzi has {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} versus K-Q, all in on a turn of {4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. The board finishes out {J-Spades} and Mizzi busts his opponent, collecting 240,000.

And hand for hands ends just like that. The bubble person is out, and everyone left will cash. They won't necessarily come out ahead, depending on their rebuys, until several more cash spots.

Hand-for-Hand Soon

We are down to 85 players. We will be going hand-for-hand when 83 are left. When the bubble boy or girl goes out in 82nd -- even if it is a bit after the scheduled 2 a.m. end time -- action will then conclude for the evening.
