Eli Elezra Takes a Big Pot from Alexander Kostritsyn

Before the flop Alexander Kostritsyn raised to 22,000 and Eli Elezra called in the small blind. The players checked the {5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and when the {2-Spades} hit on the turn Elezra bet 26,000 and Kostritsyn called. The {9-Diamonds} fell on the river and Elezra bet out 35,000. Kostritsyn raised to 105,000 and Elezra made the call, to learn that his {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} bettered Kostritsyn's pocket threes. That pot just before the break lifted Elezra above the 700,000 mark while Kostritsyn fell to 290,000.
