"Babydoll!"

Stud-8:

Showing {A-?} {3-?} {4-?} {6-?}, Yueqi "Rich" Zhu checks on seventh street.

John Cernuto, who's not showing a low in his upcards, says to Zhu, "You're checking? Have you got two pair?" `He checks behind. Sure enough, Zhu turns over another six and another three for two pair. "Babydoll!" cries Cernuto, and turns over two pair, eights and fives.

"Just Nut-Nut"

Omaha-8:

Brandon Cantu has turned a short stack in 75,000, a recent encounter with "Miami" John Cernuto adding yet more chips to his ever-increasing stack.

Facing a bet on the river of a {Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} board, Cernuto released his hand, only for Cantu to brag with a sigh, "Just nut-nut."

I'm no Columbo, but I say he had A-3 with the nut flush.

Silverman Down

Stud-8:

Sam Silverman has busted out, pushing it all in with just one card up. He got two callers, but Tom Chambers scared off the other opponent on seventh street.

Silverman: {5-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} with {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}
Chambers: {2-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} with {4-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {10-Clubs}

Chambers takes the lot, and Silverman takes the long walk home.

Gray Laydown

Omaha-8:

Craig Gray raised preflop, and John Racener to his immediate left called, allowing them both to see a {5-Spades} {6-Hearts} {A-Hearts} flop. Gray bet, and Racener called.

They both checked the {3-Spades} turn, and Gray checked the {7-Diamonds} on the river. Racener bet, and Gray folded -- showing {A-?} {A-?} {3-?} {9-?}. Although he has been incredibly aggressive today, Gray is also clearly capable of laying a hand down when necessary.

Jurgens Scoops a Pot

Omaha-8:

Tad Jurgens has enjoyed a virtual double-up courtesy of Yueqi "Rich" Zhu -- Jurgens was holding {K-?} {Q-?} {A-?} {4-?} and made a full house to scoop on the X-X-{A-?} {A-?} {4-?} board. "Nice hand," commented a few onlookers, unsurprisingly. Zhu was unimpressed.

Au Revoir

Stud-8:

The French contingent of today's event has now bitten the dust, Claude Cohen the resulting exit of a three way pot involving Yueqi Zhu and Craig Gray.

All-in on third street:

Zhu = {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts} with {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Cohen = {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts} with {8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{J-Spades}
Gray = {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} with {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Aces and sevens pip queens and sixes to earn Zhu the pot, whilst Cohen earns the door.

And on that note, we're down to our final two tables.
