Unsurprisingly, it's Brandon Cantu and Greg Pappas who lock horns again, but this time Daniel Mowczan has gotten in on the act, Cantu and Mowzcan sharing the pot with an A-2-3-4-6 low and pocket tens respectively. Pappas mucked.
After betting, checking and calling all in the final three streets with 7-5-9-J and 3-4-10 in the hole, James Van Alstyne was finally launched out of today's event by Farzad Rouhani's 3-4-10-Q with A-5-7 in the hole, Rouhani scooping with a low of A-3-4-5-7 and just ace high for the high.
Tom Chambers calls a bet from Farzad Rouhani on third street, then bets fourth street and calls Rouhani's raise. Chambers is the aggressor on fifth and sixth streets, and then he calls Rouhani's seventh-street bet. He mucks, and is down to just 50,000.
Brandon Cantu and Greg Pappas continue their epic battle that has seen chips continuously move back and forth across the felt. On this occasion, it was Pappas who got the better of his foe, his raise with on the final street being looked up by Cantu.
Continuing their table talk trend that has been keeping us entertained throughout the night, Cantu asks, "Did you hit a flush?" to which Pappas replies, "Yes, I did," turning over the in the process. Cantu mucks.
John Racener has raced into the lead on 324,000, ahead of Farzad Rouhani who has dropped back just below the 300,000 mark. Close at their heels are Tom Chambers on 270,000 and Brandon Cantu on 260,000.
A desperately short Matt Graham was all in on third street versus both Pappas and Cantu. Once Graham was in, Cantu bet the whole way down and won the enormous side pot when Pappas mucked at the end of the hand, as well as knocking out Graham in 12th place.
