In a prior hand, a new player who had just arrived at the table called for a clock on bracelet winner Paul Kobel who was involved in a large pot with another player. Kobel, apparently upset over the clock issue, began to insult and belittle the player for several minutes after that hand concluded. On a later hand, Kobel had moved all-in but before anyone had called, a tournament director arrived to issue Kobel a penalty that would take place after his current hand resolved.
Kobel's all-in was called and Kobel showed pocket tens which ran into another players pocket queens. The queens held up and Kobel was eliminated from the event.
