It's Gray's Day

Lucky lucky man
Lucky lucky man
Still going, Craig Gray has survived multiple all ins against Will Filla.

Getting his chips in preflop with his A-9 dominated by Filla's A-K, he was massively lucky to flop a nine to stay in the game.

Then some hands later, he got into it again, this time with sixes against tens. Against the odds he flopped a six to double up again, this time leaving the unfortunate Filla with just 4,000 in chips.

On the Mike

Mike Schwartz has check-raised his way to victory, reraising his foe's 1,900 bet all in on a {4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{A-Clubs} flop.

"I think I'm going to have to call," commented Schwartz's opponent, before sliding the chips across the felt and showing {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Schwarz, however, was in good shape, his {4-Hearts}{6-Spades} looking to avoid an ace or a ten (or, of course, running cards for the counterfeit). However, no help arrived, and we have another winner.

Not Widmer's Darling

Jeffrey Darling has snatched victory away from Jan Widmer. Widmer flopped a flush, but Darling turned a full house -- all in on the turn, and there was no turning back for the now-busted Widmer.

Heads Up Marathons

Among those still fighting for their place in he second round is Craig "MrCasino" Gray, embroiled in an epic heads up with an unknown opponent.

Also still going are Minh Nguyen and Joe Tehan, back to even in chips after Nguyen put Tehan all in on the turn of a 6-10-Q-J board with J-10 for two pair, and Tehan called with A-Q. Another queen on the river, though, and Tehan was back in the game.

Two More Triumphs

Thor Hansen
Thor Hansen
Norwegian legend and all-round nice guy Thor Hansen has triumphed. Kings vs. K-T, all in on the river of a K-T--T-2-7 rainbow board.

Edward Pellegrini has also advanced. 5-5 vs. K-2. A-9-7-5-6 board.
