We caught up to this hand after the draw. Chris Ferguson bet 5,000 and was called by Robert Mizrachi. Ferguson showed a 9-8, which was enough to take the pot. After the hand, his stack increased to 84,000. Mizrachi dipped to about 50,000.

Kicker Problems

Oh, those pesky kickers. Even in deuce-to-seven, they can be problematic. Mickey Appleman was all in before the draw and was called by Matt Glantz. Appleman stood pat; Glantz drew one. After the draw, Glantz showed a very rough ten: T-9-7-6-5. Appleman also had a rough ten, but it was just a little less rough than Glantz's: T-9-7-6-2. Appleman's deuce kicker played to allow him to take down the pot. Glantz was eliminated a few hands later.

Harman Pushes Everyone Out

After one of Jennifer Harman's opponents raised to 2,000 and Daniel Alaei reraised to 7,000, Harman pushed all in for about 30,000 after looking at her first four cards. Both players immediately folded, allowing Harman to pick up the pot.
