A Case of Nerves

For a room full of several thousand poker players, staff and spectators, the Amazon Room has an odd sense of quiet to it. The dominant sound is the riffling of chips, punctuated by periodic declarations of "check," "bet," "raise" and "call". There is a nervous energy in the room, undoubtedly because many of the players are playing in their first WSOP event.
