The Agony of Defeat

Right in front of us, a player was all in on the flop. The turn card came down and the all-in player angrily shouted "NO!"--by far the loudest demonstration of emotion to this point of the day. Action in the surrounding area paused ever so briefly, with players turning to observe the commotion. After a few seconds, a player at a different table shouted "YES!" in response, and the room broke into laughter.

The all-in player was eliminated on the hand.
