Medic Eliminated

Nenad Medic was eliminated while holding pocket jacks. Things looked good for Medic on a flop of {J-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {A-Spades} and when the {5-Hearts} hit on the turn, both he and his opponent got all their chips in the middle. Medic was happy with his jacks flopping a set, until he saw that his opponent had flopped a set of queens.

Name Verification

Theo Tran arrived a little late to find that he was seated at the same table as Gavin Smith and Jeff Madsen. After arriving, the dealer asked, as per the rules, that Tran produce his identification before he could play. Tran pulled it out and handed it to the dealer, who read it carefully to verify.

"Come on," Gavin Smith joked. "No player is ballsy enough to hand you their ID if they're not actually that person."
