Jerrod Ankenman called his opponent's all-in bet holding {Q-Clubs}

for the nut straight. His opponent had {K-Clubs}

and had outs, but the river was the {5-Diamonds}

and Ankenman took the pot. His stack is now up to 106,000.

Thomas Wahlroos was all in with A-J against an opponent who held A-Q. The flop came A-J-X and Wahlroos stayed alive. After flopping two-pair, Wahlroos stood up and yelled "Yeah! It's the year of the Wahlroos!"

Soon after, Wahlroos was all in again holding A-K against his opponent's pocket nines. The board ran {Q-Diamonds}

and again Wahlroos responded with an enthusiastic "Year of the Wahlroos" cheer. After scooping the pot, Wahlroos immediately apologized to the losing player, saying "Sorry for being so loud, I'd hate it if someone did that to me." His opponent replied that it was fine, but Wahlroos continued, "I was being an ass."

After two successful double-ups, Wahlroos is sitting with a comfortable 42,700.

Humberto Brenes Doubles Up

Sorel Mizzi Has Been Eliminated

A player raised in early position and when it was folded around Mizzi moved all in from the big blind for 11,925. He got the call and Mizzi's {8-Clubs}

trailed his opponent's {J-Hearts}

. The

board provided no help and Mizzi was eliminated.

We're sitting at just about two hours and twenty minutes of play left in the evening and we're already down to 210 players remaining. The field started at 731, so that's 500 players in just seven hours of play.

We reach the money at 72, so how close will we come before calling it a night after the remaining two levels? Only time will tell...
