It's too early to be making any predictions, but this is Tom Schneider's fifth cash already in the year's WSOP. If Schneider goes deep in a few more events or wins a bracelet, he may be a lock for the unprecedented honor of back-to-back Player of the Year awards.

With the exception of fifth street, where Turner check-raised, he bet every street and Greenstein called. On sixth street, Greenstein gave up his hand and Turner took the pot and showed () () .
Jon Schwartz and Dave "F-Train" Behr are both still alive in the event. Schwartz is below average with 14,500 chips while Behr is on the short stack of 5,000.
Barry Greenstein and Ted Lawson just played a hand to the river. Action had Greenstein betting every street with Lawson making the call. When it was all said and done, the players showed:

Greenstein's was best and he climbed to about 70,00 chips while Ted Lawson fell to just 8,500.
Tom Schneider just worked his stack up to 44,000 when his bested the of Steven Merrifield. Schneider bet the whole way and Merrifield called him down. Merrifield was crippled to 5,500 and was eliminated a few hands later.
Tom Schneider was just moved to table of Eugene Katchalov and Jeffrey Lisandro. The three have been chatting it up about Jamie Gold's run in the 2006 Main Event and have been speculating on whether or not this will be the year that an established professional captures the title.
This year has already been great for the seasoned professionals. So far this year, Nenad Medic, David Singer, Erick Lindgren, Rep Porter, Mike Matusow, Vanessa Selbst and Daniel Negreanu have already taken home WSOP gold.
Manelic Minaya was the latest player to be sent home. Minaya's came up short against the of Chris Klodnicki. Klodnicki chips up to 51,000 or so while Minaya takes home $2,473 in prize money.
