Gray Walks the Line

Jason Gray got involved in a hand with John Myung and put his tournament life on the line. Gray called a preflop raise of 24,000 and the flop came {5-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {8-Spades}.

Both players checked and the turn was the {J-Clubs}. Myung bet all in and Gray made the call for his remaining 25,000. Myung flipped {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and Gray turned {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}.

The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Gray doubled up. He now has 140,000.

von Outta Here

Vitaly Lunkin raises to 20,000 from under the gun before Jan von Halle (who had just tripled up) moves all in for 65,000.

Lunkin makes a quick call with {K-Spades} {K-Hearts}
von Halle's in trouble with {10-Spades} {10-Clubs}

the board comes {7-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {8-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}

Lunkin up to 170,000 and von Halle is out.

Phil Him Up

A player in the cut off moves all in for 40,500 and the big-stacked Philip Yeh calls with {A-Clubs} {3-Spades}.

The all in player shows {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}.

All the way to the river we go:

{10-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Spades} {5-Hearts} {3-Clubs}.

The flopped ten is good enough for him to survive.

Yeh back down to 360,000.

Blind Battle

The small and big blind get it all in preflop when it's folded around to them.

Jeffrey Henry is the big blind player and he has the best of it with {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} versus his opponent's {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

The board ran {A-Hearts} {10-Spades} {3-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {9-Spades}. The best hand stayed best at the end.

Henry doubles to 125,000.

Preflop Raising War

In a hand that just occurred it seems four players had big hands. Justin Pechie tanked after a series of raises, calls, reraises and an all in before and after he called a raise. He said he folded two black jacks. Only one player called the all in push of Trevor Donaldson.

Donaldson held {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} and his opponent {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} .

The board was {10-Hearts} {6-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {10-Spades}.

Donaldson more than doubles up to 160,000.

I bet Pechie is glad he folded now!

Chip For Chip

An all in preflop encounter just took place between Kevin Stammen and Don Zewin.

Stammen flipped over {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}
Zewin flipped over {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}

The board was {9-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades}.

The aces of Zewin hold to take the pot. When the stacks were counted down it emerged they had exactly the same amount!

Zewin on 135,000.
