Play Has Stopped For Today.

After a frantic day, play has come to an end after nearly thirteen hours of play. We started with 2,706 players and somehow this has been whittled down to 224 players. The money seemed a long way away at the start of play but we cruised through that target.

The target for tomorrow is to play down to a final table of 9 and we will keep going until we get there, be it more or less than ten levels. Play starts a little later tomorrow at 2pm Pacific time. We hope you can join us for more no limit action

When You're Hot You're Hot

Bernard Lee has just sucked out on another player to eliminate him and extend his lead.

He reraised a player all in preflop with {9-Spades} {9-Hearts} who was holding {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}. The inevitable {9-?} fell on turn to send the pot his way.

He's up to 167,500 now.

He's Dunst For

Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst can feel free to play in tomorrow's $3,000 NL Hold'em noon tournament, seeing as he busted a few moments ago.

Tony put in his last 10,000 with {A-Clubs} {9-Spades} on a {10-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {7-Spades} board, but ran into an opponent's {9-Clubs} {7-Clubs} and when the turn and river brought {5-Spades} {3-Diamonds}, Dunst was done.

Cry Me a River

Sarah Bilney moved her short stack in preflop and found a caller holding {J-?} {J-?}. She was in a race situation with her {A-?} {Q-?}.

All the way to the river {2-?} {2-?} {3-?} {10-?} {Q-?}.

The river saved her meaning she will most likely be with us again tomorrow.

She's up to 32,000.

Slot-Boomed

A little way into the money Rolf Slotboom got his money in good only to be sucked out on. He was holding {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} to an opponent's {A-Spades} {9-Spades}.

The board ran {9-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} to eliminate the Dutchman.

This is his fourth cash this year.

Bubble Twins

Ted Harris and Gusso Alessandro were knocked both out on the last hand, so they will split the $2,770 prize for 270th place, taking home $1385 each.
