Nathan Doudney Eliminated 16th Place ($24,071)

Nathan Doudney
Nathan Doudney
Talk about rubbing salt into the wound!

Tim West raised to 33,000 and found callers in the shape of Kyle Kloeckner, Nathan Hagens, and Nathan Doudney.

The flop came {3-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts}.

It was checked to Doudney who bet 100,000 (with 60,000 back) before Kloeckner raised enough to put him all in.

The others folded before Doudney called with {6-Clubs} {3-Spades} {7-Hearts} {5-Spades} for a full house.

Kloeckner tabled {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {K-Spades} for an overpair and a flush draw that was no use.

The turn {J-Spades} made the bigger full house though, before the {J-Clubs} made quads, just to make sure. Kloeckner is now the big chip leader with 865,000.

A dejected Doudney walks off.

Steve Saris Eliminated in 18th Place ($24,071)

Steve Saris limped from the hijack seat, Nathan Doudney limped from the button, Ted Forrest completed from the small blind, and Michael Schwartz checked in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} and the blinds checked to Saris who bet pot. Doudney reraised with the rest of his chips, the blinds folded, and Saris called. Doudney had Saris covered.

Saris: {K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Doudney: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The dreaded set-over-set for Saris. The turn was the {J-Spades}. The river was the {10-Clubs}, giving Doudney quads. Saris is out, and Doudney up to 360,000.

I Alioto You Makowsky

Dario Alioto has just doubled through Daniel Makowsky. All the chips went in on the turn with the board as {8-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}.

Alioto showed {9-Spades} {8-Spades} {10-Hearts} {K-Spades} for the straight.
Makowsky revealed {Q-Spades} {5-Spades} {3-Spades} {3-Hearts} for a set.

The river {6-Hearts} falied to house up Makowsky and he moved down to 100,000.

Alioto on the other hand is up to 360,000.

A few hands later Daniel Makowsky managed to win a pot off Kevin O'Donnell and move back up to 190,000.

Jeff Williams Eliminated in 20th Place ($19,257)

Three players including Ted Forrest limped in to the big blind of Jeff Williams before he raised it up to 40,000. This move worked on all but Ted Forrest who had a big stack and could afford to push the young Williams about. He reraised enough to put Williams all in.

Williams made the call with {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} {3-Clubs}.
Forrest tabled {K-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {A-Hearts}.

The board came {5-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {8-Spades} {J-Clubs}.

Two pair was enough to do it for the former EPT Grand Final champion and he smlies and leaves the area.
