flop, Jesper checked and Cody did the same. The {9-Clubs}

turned, Hougaard bet 200,000 and Slaubaugh called.

The river brought the {J-Hearts}

, Jesper checked and Cody bet 350,000. Jesper called and Cody showed K-10 for the straight to Jesper's J-9 and two pair, and Slaubaugh took down another big pot.

Cody raised to 125,000 and Jesper thought a good while before announcing a reraise. He made it 320,000 in total and Slaubaugh took some time before making the call.

The flop came {10-Spades}

and Hougaard bet 375,000. Cody announced all in for another 1.2 million and Hougaard angrily flicked his cards away, showing an ace.

And that's when Cody showed Q-9, causing his friends in the crowd to make some considerable noise.

dominated Jesper's {Q-Clubs}

, and when the board ran out {7-Hearts}

Slaubaugh got the first double up he needs.

We are taking a small, ten minute break so the tournament staff can bring out the bracelet as we are heads up. Currently, Jesper holds almost a 7:1 chiplead over Cody.

For a moment there was total silence then Jesper's large and rowdy group of supporters went crazy and started jumping up and down and screaming, with Hougaard in the middle of the makeshift mosh pit.

It was a hearbreaking way for Kantor to go out, but remember--he was all in on the first hand of the tournament, was down to three outs on the river--and hit. From there he moved all the way up the ladder to 3rd place and a $258,862 payday.
