The Croc Gets Bitten

Billy "The Croc" Argyros doubled up moments ago, but he has just now been knocked out. He was holding {J-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}, and got all in preflop against {A-Spades} {10-Hearts}. Argyros failed to hit the board, as it came out {2-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {7-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}, and he headed for the door.

David Levi Moving Up

David Levi
David Levi
No-Limit Hold'em:

After David Levi raised to 1,200 from the small blind and a player that limped called, the flop came {K-?} {J-?} {4-?}. Levi then put the other player all in and he called.

Levi showed {K-?} {J-?} to his opponent's {J-?} {10-?}. The turn came a {4-?} and the river a {3-?} to give Levi the pot and move him up to 15,000.

Boeree Sitting Pretty

Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree
Limit Hold'em

Liv Boeree is up to 17,000 after flopping a diamond flush draw and going with it. The flush came on the turn and she managed to get paid off on the river, as happens so often in limit hold'em.

The Croc Shows His Teeth

Limit Hold'em:

Billy "The Croc" Argyros just survived an all-in to stay alive. He raised from under the gun, and the cutoff seat reraised, enough to put the Aussie at risk. Argyros called, and turned over {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. His opponent held {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts}. The dealer ran the board {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}, and Argyros doubled up to right around 4,000.

As he was dragging in the pot, The Croc said, "Now I got some teeth. I was a toothless croc!"

Double Up for Espo

Limit Hold'em:

Lou "The Big Easy" Esposito has just more than doubled up when he got involved in a three-way pot for his tournament life. He held {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} and was all in preflop against {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} and {Q-Spades} {10-Spades}. The board came down {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {2-Hearts} {2-Spades} {6-Spades}, and Esposito's full house is enough to get him chipped back up to 3,600.

Racing Redmond

Richard Redmond is up to 32,000 now. This was helped by him getting it all in preflop with {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} versus an early postion player's {10-?} {10-?}. An ace on the flop enough to win it for Redmond and eliminate his opponent.

A short while later Redmond was at it again, eliminating another player. He made two pair on the river, holding A-9. His opponent could only muster one pair with Q-9 and headed for the exit.

Pescatori is down to 5,400.

Nam Le Resucks On the River

No-Limit Hold'em:

All in before the flop, Nam Le had an opponent on the ropes with his dominating {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} over his opponent's {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}.

The flop came {Q-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}. The turn came the {J-Diamonds} and put Le behind, but he did pick up a straight draw. Then, the river came the {10-Clubs} and gave Le the winning straight.

Le is now up to 9,000.
