This happened just prior to the break, Simon had two pair to Eric Lynch's flopped set of aces and when neither player made a low Lynch scooped the pot and eliminated Simon.

A player in late position raised to 3,500 and Kathy Liebert called for her last 3,100. Liebert's {A-?}

was up against {A-?}

and after a {5-Diamonds}

flop, her opponent made a straight when the {6-Diamonds}

turned. He also held the nut low and when the {7-Spades}

fell on the river, Liebert's tournament came to an end.

George Danzer was just quartered when his A-2 nut low went up against the same A-2 nut low. Both players made their low, with Danzer's opponent taking the high with top pair. After the hand, Danzer is left with only 3,300.

Earlier today, we reported about the players at "Minneapolis" Jim Meehan's table complaining about his loud behavior. Well, Layne Flack has just been moved to that table, which has about 60 percent of the same players there from when Meehan was seated. And Layne is, well, being Layne.

So far today that table has housed the two chattiest players of the event.

A player in middle position raised to 2,400, and after the button called, Vince Burgio called in the small blind. The big blind made a pot-sized reraise, the original raiser then moved in for 17,000, the button folded, and Burgio and the player in the small blind both called.

When all that was said and done, Burgio's {Q-Clubs}

were pitted against the original raiser's {A-Clubs}

and the big blind's {A-Diamonds}

. The board ran out {5-Hearts}

, the player with the pocket aces scooped, and Burgio was eliminated.
