Blair Rodman Has Been Eliminated

After an early-position raise to 800 and another player reraising to 2,000 Blair Rodman moved the last of his 2,800 chips into the pot. The first raiser folded and Rodman found his {A-Spades} {6-Spades} {5-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} up against {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. The {5-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} didn't help Rodman's hopes for at least winning the low, and the {7-Diamonds} on the turn gave his opponent a straight, while also giving Rodman a shot at chopping the pot. But the {10-Hearts} fell on the river, there was no low hand, and Rodman was knocked out.

Binger Out-Flopped

Michael Binger ran into a flopped wheel on a board of {4-Spades} {2-Spades} {5-Clubs}. Binger bet the pot on the flop and was called by a single opponent. Both players checked the {2-Hearts} on the turn and his opponent fired 1,650 into the pot when the {Q-Hearts} landed on the river.

His opponent showed A-3 for the wheel and Binger mucked. He's down to 1,900 after the hand.

Slotboom Takes It All

After just getting quartered on a previous hand, Rolf Slotboom eliminated a player to increase his stack size up to 17,500. Rolf was holding an overpair as well as the nut flush draw when he got his opponent to put all his chips in the middle on a low draw. The board bricked on the river and Slotboom picked up the large pot.

The Bricks Fall on Jean-Robert Bellande

With most of the money in before the {10-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} flop Jean-Robert Bellande and his opponent put the last little bit in with Jean-Robert holdling {A-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {J-Spades} to his opponent's {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. But when the {3-Clubs} fell on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river Bellande's hand didn't improve and he couldn't beat the other player's two pair. He's now down to 3,100.

Slotboom Gets Quartered

Rolf Slotboom got all his chips in the middle with two other players while holding A-2. One of his opponents also held the nut low draw and both players managed to get there on the river. Rolf nabbed a quarter of the pot for his low, while his opponent picked up the rest.

Jeff Bryan Eliminates Dutch Boyd

Before the flop Dutch Boyd raised to 900 and Jeff Bryan made the call. The flop came {8-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}, Boyd checked and Bryan bet 2,000. Boyd bet the last of his 8,025 chips and Bryan made the call. He held {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {9-Spades} {7-Clubs} to Boyd's {A-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {9-Clubs}, and while the {2-Spades} on the turn didn't help Bryan the {10-Clubs} on the river did, giving him the straight and the pot. Bryan is our chip leader with 38,000, while Boyd is out of today's event.

Erik Seidel Picks Up a Pot

Erik Seidel raised to 600 and the players on the button and in the big blind called. The flop came {7-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}, Seidel bet 1,000, the button folded and the big blind called for the last of his chips. Seidel held {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} to his opponent's {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {8-Diamonds}, and when the board ran out {7-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} Seidel won a pot that boosted his stack to 13,000.
