Tad Jurgens - Eliminated
Tad Jurgens - Eliminated
Stud-8:

Tad Jurgens was recently eliminated when he got mixed up in a hand with Phil Galfond and Kenny Tran. Jurgens was all in on third street and Tran and Galfond checked through sixth street. Tran bet the river and Galfond called. The players showed:

Jurgens: (X) (X) {J-Hearts} {9-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} (X)
Tran: ({3-Spades}) ({6-Clubs}) ({5-Spades}) {A-Spades} {6-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {2-Hearts}
Galfond: ({A-Clubs}) ({Q-Diamonds}) ({A-Diamonds}) {Q-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {J-Spades} {K-Spades}

Galfond took the side pot with his aces and queens while Tran took the low with his {6-?} {5-?} {3-?} {2-?} {A-?}. Jurgens could beat neither and was eliminated.

Steve Sung Eliminated

Stud:

After crippling Steve Sung in a previous hand, Marcel Luske just finished him off. Sung was all in on third street in a multi-way hand with Luske, Daniel Negreanu, and Rob Hollink. Luske bet the whole way and Negreanu and Hollink eventually folded. Sung and Luske were the only players to see seventh street and they showed:

Sung: ({5-Diamonds}) ({9-Diamonds}) {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {2-Hearts} ({9-Spades})
Luske: ({A-Diamonds}) ({Q-Hearts}) {10-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {K-Spades} {3-Spades} ({2-Spades})

Luske's Broadway straight was good enough for the win. Steve Sung was eliminated and Luske now works with about 300,000 chips.

Mueller Off to a Great Start

Greg Mueller
Greg Mueller
Razz:

Greg "FBT" Mueller just took down a huge three-way pot against David Oppenheim and Raymond Davis.

Davis: (X) (X) {7-?} {9-?} {10-?} {4-?}
Mueller :(X) (X) {5-?} {3-?} {6-?} {8-?}
Oppenheim: (X) (X) {A-?} {A-?} {J-?} {J-?}

3rd street: Davis completed, Mueller raised, Oppenheim reraised, Davis called, Mueller reraised, Oppenheim reraised, Davis called, and Mueller called.
4th street: Mueller bet, Oppenheim and Davis called.
5th street: Mueller bet, Oppenheim and Davis called.
6th street: Mueller bet, Oppenheim and Davis folded.

Mueller would have likely been all in on seventh street with just 10,000 behind, but with that pot is now sitting on just over 150,000.
