Break

It has been announced that play will continue this evening until we burst the money bubble. We are currently at 206 players left, so we need eight more eliminations until play will end for the day. Knowing how tight players can become on the money bubble at 1 a.m. this is an interesting decision that could mean we'll be here for a while longer.

The players are now taking a 15-minute break.

Levy Doubles Through Cajelais Again!

Erik Cajelais raised it up preflop to 3,200 from late position and Adam Levy reraised an additional 6,300 more from the small blind. Cajelais made the call.

The flop landed {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Levy moved all in. Cajelais made the call and Levy wasn't happy as he sheepishly revealed {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} for no pair and no draw. However, remarkably he held the best hand as Levy showed {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for just the nut flush draw.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and river the {A-Spades} to give Levy a double-up to 74,000 as Cajelais slips to 84,000.

Bryan Bluffs Into Bullets

An interesting hand developed preflop when Bryan Devonshire made a mis-timed move on his opponent.

His opponent opened the action with a raise, which was flat-called by a third player. Devonshire then decided to squeeze to make it an additional 7,200 to go. The initial raiser then moved all in for another 12,000. The third player folded and Devonshire went into the tank. After doing some math, he decided to make a pot-committed call and hope he had live cards with {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}; however he was in trouble as his opponent showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

The board fell {5-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Devonshire takes a big hit to slip to 23,000.

Magriel's Top Two Not Enough

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{K-Spades} a player from early position fired out 6,000 before Paul Magriel raised it up to 22,000. The early position player then moved all in, but Magriel made the call tabling {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for top two pair. His opponent showed {A-Spades}{7-Spades} for bottom pair and flush draw.

The turn changed things around as the {A-Diamonds} gave Magriel's opponent a better two pair. The river was the {10-Clubs} and Magriel shook his head as he was left with only 7,200.
