The Domination of Crain

Eric Crain is in total control of his table at the moment, and is throwing his big stack around like a weapon. In a recent hand as he reached for chips his opponent quivered and cried, "Don't do it!" before he raised up to 3,200 saying, "I don't know if I want a hand or not!"

His opponents folded, preferring to stay out of the way rather than clash with the dominant Crain as he collects more blinds and antes to add to his massive stack.

Gazes Now Stargazin - Eliminated

Bill Gazes moved all in on a flop of {3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} {J-Hearts} and received a call. Gazes showed{J-?} {J-?} for top set and his opponent showed {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}. Things looked good for Gazes until the {4-Clubs} on the turn and {6-Diamonds} on the river gave his opponent a runner-runner straight. Gazes is now out the door.

Hi Mom!

Apparently Alan Jaffray's mother really wanted to know his chip count. He told us, "Get my chips count and tell my mom to stop worrying."

Well Mrs Jaffray, your son is at 42,000 in chips and in good shape to make it to Day Two.

Dragon Dented

David Pham raised it up to 3,000 from mid-position before the player in the small blind reraised to 8,000. Pham made the call.

They took a flop of {2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and both checked. The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and the small blind led for 5,000, which Pham called.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and the small blind checked to Pham who bet 12,100 which was enough to put his opponent all in. The player in the small blind made the call and tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} which was good to collect the pot as Pham tossed his cards into the muck.

Pham is now down to 26,000 in chips.
