Tran eliminated after a long battle
Tran eliminated after a long battle
Theo Tran hit an ace on the river against Allen Le's pocket jacks to stay alive and double up to 5,000. He then got blinded down to 2,200 after a few more hands before the match would finally reach it's conclusion.

Le held {K-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} and Tran held {J-Spades} {10-Spades}, dominated by Le's hand.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Spades} and Tran picked up a flush draw as some more outs. The turn was the {8-Clubs}, giving Tran even more outs as the crowd circled the table closer.

The river paired the board though with the {4-Hearts} and that was all she wrote for Tran. Allen Le got congratulations from his brother Nam and other friends as he was moving on to the next round after over a three-hour battle.
