Not Much Going On

No one really wants to budge here. The pots have been small and the chip stacks don't seem to be fluctuating too much. A lot of players are also up and down from the table and walking around the room.

Mike Wattel Picks Up a Pot

Mike Wattel bet from under the gun preflop and was raised by Jelger Wiegersma. Wattel made the call. On a flop of {K-Spades} {4-Spades} {8-Diamonds} , Wattel checked, Wiegersma bet and Wattel check-raised. Wiegersma made the call. On the turn of the {2-Clubs}, Wattel bet out and Wiegersma mucked.

After the hand, Wattel moved up to 31,000 in chips.

Table Chatter

David Orvis is telling his table mates at table two that the only reason he is playing this event is because he was not allowed to register for the $1,500 event on Monday.

So far it's working out well for him as he is here in round two and will leave with no less than $5,000.

Payout Woes

The players don't seem too thrilled with the way the payouts are structured for this event. Everyone in places 10-90 will receive the same amount of money and the final table is only a little bit more once you get there. The players would like the structure to be a little more progressive and increase depending how deep you finish.
