End of the Day

We're still in the second round of the shootout and have ended play for the day. Things in the second round went somewhat slow without too many bust outs occurring. Players are really trying to grind it out to that final table.

We'll return tomorrow at 2:00 PM local time with the remaining 75 players left in the field. The tournament is scheduled to come to a completion tomorrow. We'll see you all then.

Fricke Doubles Through Kranyak

Jimmy Fricke was all in preflop holding pocket sixes, {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades}. He was up against John Kranyak's pocket tens, {10-Spades} {10-Clubs}, and things weren't looking too good for him.

The flop came {4-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {2-Spades} and Fricke still trailed.

The turn came a bright light for Fricke, the {6-Hearts}. The river was the {5-Spades} and Fricke was able to get lucky and double up through Kranyak.

Andy Bloch Eliminated

Andy Bloch raised under the gun and was called by both Danny Wong and David Orvis.

On a flop of {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}, Bloch checked and Wong bet out. Both Bloch and Orvis made the call.

On the turn of the {8-Diamonds} , Bloch check-called a bet from Danny Wong. Orvis folded.

On the river of {Q-Hearts}, Bloch bet out, which was enough to put him all in, and Danny Wong called.

Wong showed {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} for two pair, and Bloch mucked.

As Bloch was leaving, the dealer called "seat open." Bloch, referring to himself, responded by saying, "Loser on Blue 2! Loser on Blue 2!"

Lechich Moving Up

Andrew Prock raised from the button and Tino Lechich called from the big blind. The flop came down {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {6-Spades} and Lechich checked. Prock bet and Lechich called.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Lechich check-called another bet from Prock. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Lechich bet all in. Prock called.

Prock mucked his hand when Lechich flipped over {K-Clubs} {8-Hearts}. He then said, "That'll teach you to steal."

Lechich got up to 12,000 on that hand and then won the next hand to increase to 23,000.

The turn was {6-Diamonds} and Kim bet. Gee made the call. The river was the {3-Spades} and Kim bet. Gee called again and then mucked his hand when Kim showed two queens. Correa also mucked and was eliminated.

Rim Takes One Off Orvis

Connie Rim raised from middle position and was called by David Orvis.

On a flop of {J-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {3-Spades}, Orvis bet out, Rim raised, and Orvis made it three bets to go. Rim called.

On the turn of the {Q-Diamonds}, Orvis bet out, Rim raised, and Orvis called.
Orvis said, "You have a pair? I'm going to pay you off, don't worry."

The river fell the {9-Spades} and Rim bet out. Orvis made the call.

Rim showed {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} and Orvis showed {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} .

After the hand, Orvis said, "I was hoping she had ace jack."

After the hand, Rim had 60,000 and Orvis was down to 75,000.
