Eventually, he made the call with J-9-x-x and his opponent showed 7-6-4-3 for just a pair of sevens.
Phil Ivey was just seen running from his table out of the Amazon Room. In the process, he nearly trampled a chip runner, which would have resulted in spilling chips everywhere. He wasn't done there. In an effort to miss as few hands as possible, Ivey came running back into the room as well, over knocking over a few field reporters this time. I suppose he does have enough money to pay for any damages he may cause.
In a blind-versus-blind hand, Dario Minieri got the rest of his chips in the middle against John Monette -- Monnette holding pocket nines to Minieri's K-Q. Minieri could not improve and everyone's favorite scarf-wearing Italian was eliminated.

With the board reading on the river, Chris Ferguson bet 5,000 and Andy Black called all in for 3,000. Ferguson turned up for a flush, and Black mucked as he headed to the rail.
