"It's a Conspiracy!"

Mike Matusow - Event #51
Mike Matusow - Event #51
Mike Matusow, who has yet to really get involved too much today, was recently overheard talking about his run of luck here on day 3.

"They raise my blind 25 times in a row...then I get a walk and have two aces," said Matusow before he paused to look around for any cameras. "It's a f*ck*n conspiracy!" joked "The Mouth."

We Will Defend This House!

On a flop of {10-Clubs} {4-Spades} {4-Clubs}, Diogo Borges bet 11,000 and Jason House moved all in for 45,000 total. Borges insta-called and showed {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} for tens up. House showed {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} for air and needing help.

A {Q-Spades} on the turn gave House a gutshot straight draw and the river {K-Hearts} completed the straight to double House up to 107,000. Borges moved down to 158,500.

Northcott's Nothing Not Enough

Heidi Northcott eliminated on day 3
Heidi Northcott eliminated on day 3
The flop was {J-Spades} {4-Clubs} {2-Spades} when Manuel Bevant bet 10,000 into Heidi Northcott. Northcott then shoved all in for over 80,000 total and Bevant made the call. Northcott didn't want to turn over her cards and said, "I've got nothing."

She had to show though and turned up {A-Clubs} {4-Hearts} to Bevant's {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades}.

The turn came the {9-Diamonds} and the river came the {K-Spades}. Northcott was eliminated from the Main Event and Bevant moves up to 290,000.

Couer's Cooler

Three players saw a {6-Spades} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs} flop. It's checked to Christopher Olson who bet 18,000 before Jeffrey Roth moved all in. The action didn't stop there though as the third player involved, Sylvain Coeur, raised again to 70,000, but this was not enough to isolate Roth as Olson made the call.

The turn {A-Diamonds} saw Coeur bet 100,000 before Olson moved all in. Coeur made the call with {5-Clubs} {7-Hearts} for the flopped nuts. Olson tabled {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} for a flopped set, but in the worst shape of all was Roth who had {J-Spades} {J-Clubs}.

The river came {Q-Spades} before the huge pot was pushed Coeur's way. He's up to 485,000 now whereas Olson is low with 50,000 and Roth is eliminated.

Mick Nolton Eliminated

Action folded around to Mick Nolton in the cutoff and he raised to 4,500. Yde van Deutekom reraised to 12,000 from the button and Nolton pushed all in for 39,900. Van Deutekom called and the players showed:

Van Deutekom: {A-?} {Q-?}
Nolton: {8-?} {8-?}

The board ran out {A-?} {7-?} {4-?} {6-?} {K-?} and Nolton's main event dreams were no more.

They're Good

With the board reading {10-Clubs} {6-Spades} {6-Clubs} {10-Spades} Mark Vos check-called a 25,000 bet and check-called again when his opponent bet 35,000 after the {7-Clubs} fell on the river. Vos turned over {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}, the other player mucked, and Vos is now up to 200,000.

Rheem Takes a Hit

On a flop of {6-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}, David Rheem called an all in bet from David Richardson in the amount of 88,000 chips.

Rheem: {J-Spades} {8-Diamonds}
Richardson: {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

The turn of the {3-Clubs} and river of the {K-Clubs} helped neither player and Richardson doubled up to around 200,000 in chips. Rheem is left with 250,000.
