Smithers! Release the Hounds!

The players just resumed play and with them safely behind the ropes and tucked in their seats, the spectators were allowed in. They poured through the doors at the opposite end of the room and those wanting to get the choicest seats around the ESPN TV table started walking, then walking faster, then jogging, until the Amazon Room looked like the starting line of the Boston Marathon.

"No running!" floorman Chris Spears barked into the microphone as poker fans young and old hustled to the stage. But the pace slowed and we didn't see a mob scene at the entrance of the final table stage.

Jeremy Joseph Eliminated in 57th Place ($115,800)

Jeremy Joseph - 57th Place
A short-stacked Jeremy Joseph moved all in for 505,000 form early position. Action folded to Gert Andersen and he called from late position. The rest of the table passed and the players showed:

Joseph: {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}
Andersen: {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

The board helped neither player as it ran out {10-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {3-Clubs}. Jeremy Joseph hit the rail in 57th place while Gert Andersen approached the 10,000,000 chip mark.

Eric Bamer Eliminated in 56th Place ($115,800)

Jonathan Plens raised to 100,000 from middle position and Eric Bamer called from the cutoff. The flop came {J-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {7-Hearts} and when Plens bet 140,000 Bamer moved all in. Plens quickly called and his {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} needed to hang on against Bamer's {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and flush draw.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds}, the river the {J-Diamonds} and with that Eric Bamer was eliminated from the Main Event.

Tiffany Michelle Takes a Hit

Tiffany Michelle opened for 120,000 from late position, Ivan Demidov reraised to 390,000 from the button and Michelle called. The flop was {A-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}. Michelle bet 500,000 and Demidov called. The river was the {7-Clubs}. Michelle bet 800,000 and Demidov tanked for about two minutes before raising to 2,200,000. After thinking it over for a minute or so, Michelle mucked her cards.

After the hand, Demidov was up to 6,500,000, while Michelle's stack fell to 3,150,000.

Alex Outhred Eliminated in 54th Place ($135,100)

Chris Klodnicki opened with a raise to 110,000 from the button before Alex Outhred moved all in from the small blind for his last 525,000. Klodnicki made the call.

Klodnicki: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Outhred: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} to give Outhred a pair of kings, but Klodnicki made a set of nines to take a commanding lead in the hand. When the {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Outhred was left drawing dead. He is eliminated in 54th place, which means he jumps into the next payout bracket for a collect of $135,100.
