Tyner Shows Fischman a Boat

Nancy Todd Tyner
Nancy Todd Tyner
We caught up to this hand on the flop. With the board reading {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}, Scott Fischman bet 600 from the cutoff seat. His lone opponent, Nancy Todd Tyner, made the call from the button. The turn fell the {9-Hearts} and Fischman checked. Tyner bet 600 and Fischman raised to 2,100. Tyner called. The {A-Clubs} hit the river. Fischman bet 7,000 and Tyner smooth-called. She showed {A-Spades} {9-Spades} and Fischman curiously mucked.

She later told him she didn't raise because she feared {A-?} {Q-?}. She climbed to about 36,000 chips on the hand while Fischman slipped to just over 14,000.
