The Benefit of the Daut

Ryan Daut was down to about 11,500 when he raised to 600 from under the gun and got two callers. The flop came {J-Spades}{K-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Daut bet 1,100, not enough to scare away either opponent, as both called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}. This time Daut tried a bet of 4,000. Again, both called.

The river was the {A-Clubs}. Daut only had 6,145 left, so he shoved it in the middle. One opponent dropped out, but the other called.

Daut showed {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for the flopped set. His opponent had A-K for two pair. Daut is now back up to 29,000.
