Aces Up His Sleeve

There was a big commotion going on over in the middle of the Brasilia room at Al Adler and Phil Gordon's table. Gordon was seen lifting up the sleeves of another player at his table.

John Dolmayan showed aces for the eighth time in the past two levels and for the ninth time today. After he showed, the table burst out in laughter and amazement. Gordon ran over to shake out Dolmayan's sleeves and check to see if he had any aces up there. "No more, no more," joked Gordon.

Al Adler rubbed Dolmayan's head for good luck.

"It's my birthday, not yours," said Gordon as today is his birthday.

On the next hand, Gordon was able to get somewhat of a birthday present when a player gave him all his chips in the hand, bumping Gordon up to 60,000.
