Action Table

Table #6 in the Green section has provided a number of interesting hands as we move deeper into the night. Jeremiah Smith has been involved in several hands, and perhaps that big hand earlier when he took one away from Stefan Mattsson with a pair of sevens on a board of 9-10-Q-9 has loosened the table up.

That might explain why just now we had a preflop raise to 3,500, and no less than six other players call to see the flop.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, and two of our seven players would emerge as interested enough to pursue the situation any further. Walter Hall bet 16,500 from the big blind, and only Stefan Mattsson called from middle position.

The turn was the {5-Hearts}, completing a possible flush. Hall bet 17,600 this time, and again Mattsson called.

The river was the {6-Clubs}. Hall bet 31,600, leaving himself about 55,000 behind. Mattson called instantly, turning over {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for the straight. Hall showed {A-Spades}{10-Spades}, and Mattsson took it.

Mattsson is back up to 210,000.
